The firm commenced operations in Bundaberg in 1926, founded by Mr Bill Schoch. With his son then joining the firm, it became Schoch & Schoch, followed by Schoch, Schoch & Hancock after Mr Ron Hancock commenced as partner. Mr Hancock and others would then go on to establish one of Queenslands largest building societies (Wide Bay Australia) in 1966, with both firms growing together to establish a close working relationship. In September 2000 the name changed to Ulton, incorporating a bold and dynamic new logo, colours and corporate theme to reflect the evolution of the firm in to its role today as one of Queenslands largest chartered accounting, business advisory and financial planning firms.
